Antidiarrheal Agents (loperamide)

Suppresses intestinal motility and secretion.

2-4 mg, not to exceed 16 mg per day.
Special considerations or risks:
Care with mixed IBS. Avoid in IBS-C.

Constipation, dizziness.

Only useful for diarrhea. Cannot recommend for overall IBS symptoms.
